Sinopse

No deserto do Arizona Bobby (Sean Penn) dirige seu Mustang 1964 ½ tentando chegas a Los Angeles. Ele está fugindo de agiotas, que já lhe deceparam dois dedos. Para piorar as coisas a mangueira do seu carro arrebenta, assim ele se vê obrigado a ir para Superior, uma pequena cidade no meio do nada onde espera encontrar ajuda. Lá ele encontra um mecânico meio débil (Billy Bob Thornton), que propõe consertar seu carro. Enquanto espera que o carro seja consertado ele conhece uma bela mulher (Jennifer Lopez) e quando os dois começam a se "entender" surge o marido (Nick Nolte), que o ameaça mas o deixa ir. Logo depois o encontra e lhe oferece carona e um trabalho: matar sua mulher. Inicialmente ele recusa, mas acaba concordando em virtude de ter todo o seu dinheiro destruído por tiros de espingarda, quando uma senhora reagiu a um assalto. Assim, ele aceita fazer o "serviço" por treze mil dólares, mas apesar de ter chances de matá-la hesita e a quase vítima acaba lhe propondo que ele mate o marido dela.

Fantástico show no hollywood rock de 1996. Nesse show, Chico aparece numa performance que foi marcada por ter definitivamente levado o mangue pro resto do Brasil. Foi esse show que introduziu o som de Chico a muitos artistas do sul/sudeste do país. Destaque para a música cover de Roberto Carlos (Todos Estão Surdos), Refuse Resist (Sepultura) e a nunca gravada oficialmente
